The Simeone Museum was very well represented at Lime Rock Park Vintage Races, Labor Day weekend. Four of our most popular cars were there, under a tent in the paddock. Kevin and Fred drove the MG K3 and Alfa Spider around the track on Saturday, and the D-Type and DBR1 on Monday. Dr. Simeone was presented with the Lime Rock Outstanding Collector of the Year award. Glenn Koerner, Brenden Sgalio, and Mike Katsoff had fun engaging with a great many people enjoying our cars and strongly recommended coming to the Museum to see the whole collection. One 9 years old blew us away when he said that he saw the museum on TV, and the Doctor was talking to a very pretty lady! The Museum also benefitted from promotion over their loudspeakers on all 3 days. We’re spreading the word well! Weather was quite warm and very humid Saturday and Sunday. Labor Day we had a heavy morning shower, that put racing on a rain delay for half an hour. The rest of the day was fine until the sky dropped triple the amount of rain as in the morning. We had to delay loading the cars on the trailers until rain broke.;- Bob Goldsteinfive French manufactured cars that were all known revolutionaries in their day.
