The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is committed to road and traffic safety and believe that increased educational opportunities for young drivers promote a better outcome for us all. Did you know that according to the CDC “Motor vehicle crashes are the second leading cause of death for U.S. teens. Teen motor vehicle crashes are preventable, and proven strategies can improve the safety of young drivers on the road.” In fact, “The risk of motor vehicle crashes is higher among teens aged 16–19 than among any other age group.”

To that end, we have partnered with the National Road Safety Foundation in an effort to increase awareness as it relates to traffic safety. Each Saturday, we will share information from our friends at the NRSF, and other reputable sources, that relates to driver and traffic safety. We encourage you to visit their page, and follow their work online to better educate yourself and the young drivers in your life. We will be updating our website every Saturday with new and relevant information on this topic for you to share and discuss. We hope you can join us and assist us with our goal of making sure our roads and streets are safer places for us all.
