The Stevens trophy was popular in the 1920s and 30s as a test of speed and endurance of stock cars. Under the watchful eye of the timers, unmodified stock cars were given speed and endurance tests. Dr. Simeone discussed the three examples from the museum collection of the winners for 1927, 1928, and 1933 and their speed records.
