Philadelphia, PA: With Enrique Senior, automotive and art aficionados Steve and Jan Patterson select Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum to receive over thirty remarkable pieces from their private collection. The museum is known for its assemblage of distinctive sports cars, and the donation will enhance the displays through an extensive set of paintings and sculptures.

We are eternally grateful to our patrons for elevating our The Spirit of Competition theme, which celebrates the history and evolution of magnificent machines. Our collection contains over 75 historically significant cars from Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Porsche, Aston Martin, and other exclusive brands.

The lavish gifts include over 22 oil paintings on canvas by renowned artist Alfredo De la Maria and sculptures by celebrated carvers J. Paul Nesse, Stanley Wanlass, and Dennis Hoyt. Visitors can view these exceptional pieces at the Patterson Gallery.

Alfredo De la Mariais a Uruguayan artist who joined the world of exhibits at the tender age of 16. Fans regard his naval and aviation paintings with immense esteem. After traveling around Europe, he fell in love with automotive art.

In a few years, he captured the hearts of fans from Argentina to the rest of the world. His paintings graced the most notable automobile shows like Pebble Beach, Retromobile, and Cavalino.

J. Paul Nesse is one of the most famous car artists in the world. Enthusiasts can find his bronze sculptures in various collections worldwide. For two decades, he has been captivating live audiences in the Americas and Europe with his historically accurate pieces. Collectors worldwide applaud the accuracy of his artworks.

The Patterson Gallery at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is now available for viewing with regular museum admission. Visit www.simeonemuseum.org today to learn more about this remarkable collection. We’d like to once again thank Steve and Jan Patterson; without them, this wondrous display would not have been possible.
