This year’s Best of Italy celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of Maserati. These cars have come to symbolize the very best in Italian engineering and craftsmanship. The show ran from Saturday, April 12th through Sunday, April 27th. The 2014 Best of Italy was sponsored by Maserati of the Main Line. In addition to Maserati, there was a range of other significant Italian marques on display;Alfa Romeo 8C;Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint; Alfa Romeo 1900SS Zagato; Dino 246GT; Fiat Bianchina; Fiat X 1/9;Fiat 500; Lancia Pininfarina Coupe; Lamborghini400GT; Lamborghini Aventador; Lamborghini Jarama GTS; Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole; Maserati Grand Prix; Maserati 4200 Spider; Maserati Ghibli Spyder.

Located in Philadelphia, PA, the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is one of the world’s greatest collections of racing sports cars. Through our theme, “The Spirit of Competition”, we celebrate the history and evolution of these magnificent machines.

Assembled over 50 years by Dr. Frederick Simeone, the Museum contains over 75 historically significant cars including Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Mercedes, Jaguar, Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford, and more.
