Please join us during Saturday Leadership Academy for a fun-filled event related to STEM!
Transportation will be provided from VAUX Big Picture High School (Buses leave the school at 9AM sharp).
Special Guest Speakers for the event:
- Kevin Wallace (100 BMP Member & STEM Committee Chair)
- Ellis Steptoe (Mechanic & Car Collector)
- Anthony Martin (100 BMP Member & Founder of Urban Youth Racing School)
- Ed Welburn (Automobile Designer and General Motors’ Vice President of Global Design from 2003 – 2016)
Agenda for the day will include the following:
- Learn car maintenance techniques
- Automobile safety
- Tour of Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum
- Access to Corvette car show
Food Trucks will be on site with great food and treats! You don’t want to miss this event! All parents/guardians, youth (male/female) are invited!
