When you think of sports car racing, two things immediately come to mind: great speed and great design. However, for every successful designer, there are dozens more than would never be rewarded for their lifetime of work and effort. The Great Sports Car Designers Demo Day took a deeper dive into these designers and examined the life and legacy of some of the greatest designers in the history of sports car racing, Castagna, Zagato, Pinin-Farina, and Scaglietti.
Featured cars from the Simeone Foundation Collection included the 1933 Alfa Romeo 8c 2300 Mille Miglia Spider, 1933 Alfa Romeo 8c 2300 Monza, 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Spider, and 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa.
