Dr. Simeone discussed how throughout history, America has been absent from international sports racing competition with very few exceptions. The discussion covered Briggs Cunningham single-handedly leading America into international racing from 1950 through the 1960s and bringing some recognition to America as a manufacturer of winning cars. Featured in the Demonstration were the 1952 Cunningham C-4R Roadster, 1952 Jaguar C-Type, 1955 Jaguar D-Type, and a 1961 Corvette.
