Professional Race Driver Andy Pilgrim was at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum on August 13th and gave a talk focusing on his racing experience with Porsche racing cars, highlighting his Championship winning season in 1997 with Allan McNish driving the stunning Porsche 911 GT1. Andy told some funny stories of how he got into racing from very humble beginnings and history of his friendship with Dale Earnhardt including two letters written by Dale to Andy in 2000 and 2001. Andy is currently racing with Black Swan Racing in the WeatherTech/Patron series in the new 2016 Porsche GT3R. Also on display at the event was a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS painted in Gulf Blue and a Porsche 911 GT3 painted in Black.
