What are Demo Days?

At the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, you can see, hear and smell history come to life through these magnificent machines. Our Demo Day programs are held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of most months. You can see the full schedule below.

In the event of inclement weather, Demo Day will be held indoors. Please be sure to check our homepage for any last minute changes or weather updates.

Demo Day FAQ

Is there a typical Demo Day schedule?

Each Demo Day has its own theme and unique set of participating automobiles. However, Demo Day events typically stay true to the following schedule: 10:00 – Doors open | 11:15 to 11:45 – Scrutineering technical learning session | 12:00 to 12:30 – Demo Day discussion, Q and A with Dr. Simeone | 12:30 to 1:00 – Driving demonstration with featured automobiles | 1:00 to 2:00 – Visitors are able to inspect and photograph Demo Day cars while engaging with Simeone Museum staff and volunteers

Is there an extra charge for Demo Day events?

Demo Day events are included with any General Admission tickets.

Can I drive / get in the cars?

Our collection contains some of the rarest and most sought after automobiles in the world. Because of that fact (and our extraordinarily strict insurance requirements), only authorized agents of the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum are allowed to operate/occupy vehicles in our collection.

Do you have other (guest) cars at Demo Days?

We certainly do! You never know what might show up at one of our Demo Day events. Check our website news section and social media for all the latest updates.

Can I take pictures of the cars?

We hope you do! Demo Day events are all about learning the unique history and legacy of the cars in our collection and the place they held in history. We encourage all of our guests to stay after we run our featured automobiles to continue the conversation and get the opportunity to take some once-in-a-lifetime photos.

Can I make a Demo Day theme or car request?

We are always open to hearing about what kind of Demo Days you want to see. Do you have a request or a concept? Send a quick note to our curator (in the CONTACT section) and share your idea.

How do I learn more about the cars taking part in Demo Days?

Visit the Collection portion of our website for more information on every car in our collection.

Is there food available for purchase?

We currently offer soda and Philly Soft Pretzels at most Demo Days. All proceeds benefit the museum. There are also vending machines located on premises.

Is parking free?

Parking at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is always free!

To get tickets to our Demo Days, all you have to do is buy General Admission tickets below! If you aren’t able to attend a particular Demo Day, you can still use them to attend the Museum during regular hours.
