Willy T. Ribbs – American History Maker

Meet and share an afternoon with legendary race car driver Willy T. Ribbs at the Simeone Museum.

The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, in partnership with Automotive Performance Solutions LLC presents Willy T. Ribbs – American History Maker.

You are invited to join us for an afternoon of conversation and reflection with legendary race car driver Willy T. Ribbs. Willy will be on hand to discuss his life and legacy on and off the track, and will share his experience overcoming incredible odds on his road to becoming an American History Maker.

Ribbs is the first African-American driver to win a Trans-Am race, test a Formula One car, and race in the Indy 500. His life has recently been chronicled in the documentary “Uppity: The Willy T. Ribbs Story”, produced and directed by Adam Carolla.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear WIlly speak, view selected portions of “Uppity: The Willy T. Ribbs Story”, and engage in a question and answer segment with Willy.

Admission includes a speciality southern BBQ meal prepared on site by the renowned team from Wood Craft BBQ.

Tickets to the event are $50.00 for regular admission, and $30.00 for Simeone Museum members and children from 8-18.
