Join us on Saturday, May 28 as we take a closer look at one our favorite heroes, the legendary driver Juan Manuel Fangio.
While the names of many other racing car drivers have been lost to history, the legacy of Juan Manuel Fangio lives on. A skilled and determined driver, he was nicknamed ‘El Maestro’ (the master) for his ability to maneuver his race car with precision and control. While Fangio had many achievements throughout his career, it is his legacy that echoes most strongly across time. Today, many racing drivers aspire to be like him, and race car drivers all over the world are still inspired by his story. Join us as we take a deeper look at one of our favorite heroes, and retell the stories that made him a legend.

Demo Day events typically adhere to the following schedule
- 10:00 – Doors open
- 11:15 to 11:45 – Scrutineering technical learning session
- 12:00 to 12:30 – Demo Day discussion, Q and A with Dr. Simeone
- 12:30 to 1:00 – Driving demonstration with featured automobiles
- 1:00 to 2:00 – Visitors are able to inspect and photograph Demo Day cars up close, while engaging with Simeone Museum staff and volunteers
