The story of Harry Stutz is a unique and fascinating one. Stutz was an American auto manufacturer, entrepreneur, self-taught engineer and early automotive innovator.

With a mere five weeks to build and test a car, he and his team managed a respectable eleventh place finish at the inaugural Indianapolis 500-mile race, propelling this high-end automotive marque into immortal history as the “car that made good in a day.” Stutz would continue to dominate the racing scene, and would go on to create one of the most-successful early American racing programs, taking home the checkered flag in 25 out of 30 races entered. Join us on Saturday, July 9, as we examine the life and work of one of America’s earliest automotive and discover for yourself why Dr. Simeone considered these cars to be worthy inclusions to the collection.

Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum 6825 Norwitch Drive, Philadelphia, PA

Next Year, Ferrari's Ass Is Mine.

It was 1964. Carroll Shelby was on the cusp of achieving his long-sought dream of winning the World GT Championship. His newly unleashed Daytona Coupes had been dominating throughout the season, racking up both wins and points, and were nipping on the heels of Enzo and his champion Ferraris. It all came down to one last race, and Shelby was determined to win, having entered three Daytonas to compete that day. At the very last moment, Enzo would withdrawal all of his entries, effectively nullifying the race from the points competition, and guaranteeing his team as the season points winner. Carroll was furious and declared that he would be back the following year determined to win, whatever the cost. Join us for our next Demo Day as we explore this historic rivalry and uncover the true story of Ford v. Ferrari.

But behind all of these talented professionals, there is one person who is responsible for it all, the team managers. Join us for our next Demo Day as we take a closer look at 3 of the most impactful team managers that have ever stepped on the grid - Luigi Chinetti, Alfred Momo, and Lofty England.
