2022 Spirit of Competition Award Honoring Richard Petty

Join us as we honor legendary race car driver Richard Petty.

The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is pleased to officially announce our 14th Spirit of Competition award winner. Each year a distinguished figure from motorsports who has a specific inspirational message is selected.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of one of motorsports living legends, Richard Petty.

The Spirit of Competition Award is presented annually to an individual who has made significant contributions in the world of motorsports.

Mr. Petty was chosen for his achievements on behalf of the sport and his dedication to excellence in racing, both on and off the track, exemplifying what it means to be a Champion.

Automotive impresario, founder, and director of the Amelia Island Concours, Bill Warner will act as MC.

The event will begin at 5:00 pm and consist of a dinner with open bar, an interview between Bill and Richard, and the award ceremony itself.

Tickets will not be available at the door.
