2013 “Best Of Italy” Show Begins May 25th

Our second annual “Best of Italy” show will open on Saturday, May 25th and run through June 9th. This year we will have some spectacular examples of the art and craftmanship of Italy. Included will be a Siata 300BC, a Lancia Aurelia and a Competition Ferrari Daytona.

We are also pleased to announce that this year’s Best of Italy is being sponsored by Maserati of the Main Line. They will be bringing two examples of this famous marque: a 2012 Maserati GranTurismo MC and a 2011 Maserati Quattroporte GTS.

Great Alfas Featured In This Month’s Demo Day

From the late 1920s through the 1930s, Alfa Romeo was the preeminent sports car in the world. Alfas won Le Mans four consecutive years from 1931-34 and the Mille Miglia an astounding ten times in eleven years from 1928-38! Our 2900B (pictured) was the winner of the 1939 Mille Miglia.

On Saturday, May 25th at Noon, we’ll discuss why Alfa was so dominant and what happened after their glory years in the 1930s.

The Alfa Romeos featured will be: 1925 RLSS, 1929 1750 SS, 1933 2300 and the 1938 2900B.

Admission to the Demo Day is included with regular museum admission.

Dad Gets In Free On Father’s Day, June 16th

Give Dad something he’d really like on Father’s Day – a trip to the Simeone Automotive Museum! And, if you do your part and bring him, we’ll do our part and let him in for free, with one paid adult admission. Also, remember kids 8 and younger also get in free. It’s the perfect way to honor that perfect guy!

Come Celebrate Our Fifth Anniversary

Believe it or not, it’s been five years since we opened the Simeone Automotive Museum. Please come by on Tuesday, June 18th at Noon to celebrate our anniversary – everyone gets in free that day. We’ll have cake and coffee, plus a special present for everyone who comes by. Bring your party hat!

Certain cars have so much style that they make anyone stand out from the crowd. We’ll examine four cars from the golden age of American sporting cars and what made them distinctive.
